Getting up at 3 a.m. hoping to get some nice sunrise photos and I’m only presented with a sliver of sunshine. At least I got to see the sun! For this photo I had spotted a nice looking ice berg a little ways out on the ice. After testing to make sure I wouldn’t fall through, I got my tripod set up and started shooting. Nothing like hearing the ice cracking all around you while taking photos. Makes someone nervous. 😀

This was on Lake Michigan for those who are interested. One of many photos from that trip that I have and still am posting.
