With winter coming to an end and spring just around the corner I decided to take a walk in a local park along the river. Along one of the trails I had spotted these slates of ice that were breaking up and thought they were interesting. I decided to do them in B&W to capture the detail of them as the color versions were a bit more boring. There wasn’t much color anyways as this river isn’t blue due to the factories all along it’s edge. There are warnings along the river at fishing spots providing information to anyone who dares to eat the fish to limit how much they take in. It is such a shame how polluted some of our water systems are.
