I was intrigued by the large blocks of ice that were broken up and slightly covered in snow. It took me awhile to find one that I was able to get a decent shot of to try and show how they were all over the place. If it wasn’t for the spikes I was wearing on my boots, this would have been a more treacherous hike as it was very slippery from all the ice. This last winter proved them to be an investment that was worth it.
