While coming home one morning after shooting some falls I decided to stop off somewhere to check it out since I had some time. I was happy to see a lot of wild flowers with very little wind so decided to try and get a few shots. There were a lot of these flies on them like they were open for business. This was the only one out of 60 something where I had just one fly.

I was very happy with this one. I liked the ones with multiple insects but I think I liked this more. I love how much detail you can view on the high res photos with the little specs of pollen on it’s wings and body. For fun I converted this photo over to B&W and was impressed by how it looked that way as well so I’ll be submitting that as my next MMC photo. 🙂
