The photo you see before you is nothing of how the unedited version looked. While editing, it slowly seemed to go somewhat towards green so I decided to emphasize it a bit more and think it turned out quite nice. While shooting this I had no idea what I was going to get and previous attempts of a shot like this resulted in poor results that I decided to just delete. I am happy this one turned out.
I would also like to say that I managed to find enough time to prepare posts for the entire week. I was happy to do that as I’ve been neglecting my photos for far too long. So for this week at least I hope you enjoy daily posts again!

When I got this shot I went driving somewhere with the intention of more landscape shots but when the ‘landscape’ didn’t turn out to be so good, I got out my macro lens and found photos elsewhere. A little lesson to always have different lenses with you even if you don’t originally intend to use one of them. Especially on longer trips. 🙂

Thanks Stacy! This is a photo of a wild salsify. They resemble the dandelion but are bigger. I find them easier to photograph than the dandelion because they are bigger.

You’re not the only one. I was going to just call it a big dandelion but decided to Google it to know exactly what it is. I always thought they were dandelions on steroids or something. They are still of the same family but a different sub species. I also learned there are many different types of dandelions that all look slightly different. Too much for me to keep track of. If it makes a nice photo, then I shoot it. 🙂

Thanks Robyn! Don’t get used to it though. I won’t be posing much of anything next week because it will be Thanksgiving week for us here in the states. I do however plan on starting some of my experiments. I’ll have another 9-10 stop filter by the end of this week so I can stack it with the one I already have and see how that works. Now I just hope there will be clouds.
